Corey Sears has worked a lot of different jobs.

“I have worked in construction, painting, a call center, as a receptionist in a doctor’s office, in a seafood and meat department, and have done tree work and landscaping,” Corey said.

Though he’s a man of many talents, Corey decided to join the MHED team because he wants to teach.

He most enjoys teaching at the high school level and believes that students like that he takes the time to help them with their work.

In his free time, he likes to play bass guitar and spend time with his family.

“I have two nephews. One is three years old and the other is five years old,” Corey said. “I try to visit them and my sister as often as I can. We have a blast! I also have two nieces, one is three years old and the other is eight years old and they live in New Mexico with my sister. I love to see them when they’re in town.”

Cory is always willing to accept those last-minute assignments and is willing to listen and strive to improve when he is being coached. With that, Cory has shown great improvement and receives wonderful feedback from teachers that he has substitute taught for. Way to go Cory!!
